Crews often complain that operational information is difficult to access, out of date, in inappropriate formats, and ofetn illegible. Operational managers complain that it takes too much management time to diseminate this information.

To help to deal with these problems aviationprofessionals has developed the manual management program (mmp) to support both crews and management. In addition to basic manual design, production & development, the mmp provides regular or ad-hoc updates to the paper of virtual manuals and distribution to authorised manual holders. For efficient amendment all proposed changes are made electronically via secure online access or via email.

Authorised personnel are provided with secure electronic identities for online document approval. This provides for fast document development, authorisation and production. Using this system, document turnaraound can be achieved in as little as 24 hours.

Manual holders can be advised by email when updates are available and distributed, or available for download. Operational memos and other company documentation may also be distributed in this manner.
